5x Gold for Anna, 1x Gold & 2x Silber for Andrea Rothfuss

Our Blizzard racer Anna Schaffelhuber (21) dominated the Paralympic sit-ski competitions. Five starts - five gold medals! Whenever Anna started into a race, she finished on top of the podium. Now she´s the most successful female athlete of the Paralympics in Sochi. "I knew that I could reach gold in every discipline, but I have never believed that I would do that.", she explained euphoric after the last race. "I can´t believe it. Still waiting for waking up from this dream!" The young Bavarian won the women’s giant slalom sitting class with a combined time of 2:51.26 to become the second straight woman to sweep all five alpine events at the Paralympics.

Good news as well from Blizzard & Tecnica athlete Andrea Rothfuss (24). She won the gold medal in Paralympic Slalom (standing) as well as two silver medals in Giant Slalom and Super Combined. "That´s cool, I´m so happy right now that i obviously can still ski fast", Andrea said after having some problems in Downhill and Super-G. It´s the first Paralympic gold medal for the 24-years-old German, who finished with three silver-medals the previous games at Vancouver.
With six gold and two silver medals, Blizzard and Tecnica can look back to extremely successful Paralympics. Ralf Frummet (former handicapped world champion and member of Blizzard & Tecnica Germany) commented: "We´re proud of our Paralympic athletes. Congratulations to Anna and Andrea. These girls are incredible!"
