Blizzard athlete Otmar Striedinger missed bronze medal only by two hundredth. He finished a strong Super-G run as the fastest Austrian in Krasnaja Poljana, only a blink of an eye behind Bode Miller and Jan Hudec (ex-aequo on third position). After the race Stridinger appeared frustrated: "The decision was quite close. Now it looks like i am the fool. The two hundredth against me really hurt. Medals are all that counts, but it just wasn't enough." Of course, the 22-year-old Austrian
was disappointed, but he showed as well, that he´s as able to to ski fast and is highly motivated. "My racing gear and condition are really good. Now i need a little more fortune and next time, probably i´ll be up there."

Congratulations to Otmar for a good fifth place and fingers crossed for the next competition!
