GOLD & BRONZE at the Junior World Championship 2013

The two young Austrian Blizzard & Tecnica athletes Stephanie Venier and Rosina Schneeberger climbed the podium together last weekend at at the Junior World Championships in 2013 in Quebec, Canada.

The only 19-year-old Tyrolean Stephanie Venier showed that she is a specialist in the Super-G. After the title of the Austrian Youth Championships 2012 she boosted her level considerably and crowned herself the Super-G Junior World Champion 2013.
'Despite a shortened start and poor visibility I have tried to give everything and it worked. I was totally surprised when I got to the finish and I really needed some time to realize that I was the fastest.' said the young athlete about her outstanding performance afterwards at the award ceremony.

Also very happy same aged B&T hope-bearing athlete Rosina Schneeberger. With an outstanding performance she could also reach the podium. With bronze the second medal goes to Blizzard and Tecnica team at the Junior World Cup: 'It's a great feeling to stand here on the podium can I'm also happy for Stephie that both of us as friends, could land such good results...it's really great.'

Ernst Neumayer, responsible for the Austrian Junior athletes at Blizzard and Tecnica, was exited of such a sensational result of his top performers: 'The two girls have really shown what they are able to achieve!
To show such strength in such an important event is simply phantastic! The whole season long they presented themselves in very good shape - and this are cherries on the cake!'
