Susanne Riesch is back!

Blizzard & Tecnica athlete Susanne Riesch’s comeback to the alpine ski-world-cup this coming winter is approaching. The 25-year-old alpine racer is planning her comeback after a two-year injury layoff with a start in Levi/Finland on the 16th of November. "I'm looking forward to my return and am also dreaming of Olympia", she told the german Bild newspaper.

The slalom specialist incurred a cruciate and medial collateral ligament rupture as well as a fracture of the tibial plateau in her left knee in September 2011. Her career was hanging in the balance. "Earlier this year I was wondering if all of this makes any sense," Riesch said.

But then she met fitness coach Gernot Schweizer, and a four-month stay in his Austrian home in Abtenau awoke fresh forces again. "From there on I decided to continue.“

Blizzard & Tecnica is working with Susanne on a perfect set-up to support here comeback with best possible racing gear.

Fingers crossed for a good season!
