Blizzard plays host to the world cup team

The latest recruits to the Blizzard World Cup team, Susanne Riesch, Romed Baumann, Otmar Striedinger and Florian Eisath, take a look behind the scenes at Blizzard in Mittersill.

Just before the start of the season, new World Cup athletes Susanne Riesch, Romed Baumann, Otmar Striedinger and Florian Eisath visited the Blizzard head office in Mittersill, Austria. Guided by marketing manager Thomas Rakuscha, the new World Cup athletes gained a detailed insight into the race department and the Blizzard factory, where high-tech skis are both produced and developed.

The factory tour was also an opportunity for the athletes to get to know the on-site support personnel and to carry out intensive networking. "Together with our new team, we want to reach the highest level in the World Cup. Close cooperation between product development, support and skiers is essential for our success and paves the way for top results," explained racing manager Bernhard Knauss.

"The visit to Blizzard has made me even more motivated. This personal contact with the brand creates trust and provides a sense of security. I'm very proud to be a member of the Blizzard team and I'm hoping for a very successful season," said Romed Baumann.

With Susanne Riesch (GER), Romed Baumann (AUT), Otmar Striedinger (AUT) and Florian Eisath (ITA), Blizzard and Tecnica have highly-motivated and promising new recruits in the World Cup team for the coming season. Together with experienced, multiple World Cup winner Mario Matt (AUT), Blizzard is confidently looking ahead to the first World Cup events of the new season in Sölden und Levi.
