Blizzard and Nordica are official ski partner of the Grand Prix Migros

Grand Prix Migros, the biggest junior race in alpine ski sports, is getting a new ski partner with Blizzard. The Austrian ski company intesifies the ski presence with its longtime partner Nordica of the Tecnica Group on the Grand Prix Migros. The commitment of both successful ski brands is temporary for two years now.

The brand Blizzard puts with its mutual commitment with Nordica at the Grand Prix Migros, wich is organized by Swiss-Ski, an important emphasis and wants to consolidate its commitment in the alpine ski sports also in the junior section. The austrian ski brand, wich belongs to the italian Tecnica-Group, was able to win some ground in the last two years with innovational strengh and top-products in the international and national market.

“The support of the youth in our country is very important for us” says René Urfer, manager of the Lowa Shoes AG, who distributes Blizzard in the Switzerland. Sales manager Christian Müller sees a lot of synergy potential in the performance together with Nordica “of what we profit inside the group again and again”. Nordica is official ski partner of the biggest alpine junior race in Switzerland for 15 years now. “This commitment brought us a good and positive market presence” says Ueli Schaub, who is manager of Nordica Switzerland.

The ski competition, which takes place for 40 years now in the Switzerland, is known as most successful alpine junior race and “talent pool” of the nation. Since 2002 it is called Grand Prix Migros. About 7500 competitors between 8 and 16 years take place in this competition. The participating children and also adults are allowed to test the newest products of Blizzard and Nordica on this event. Start of the Grand Prix Migros 2013 is on the 6th January 2013 in Les Crosets (VS).
